Giving Back

I am putting together a kids art calendar which I plan to offer for sale on my blog and website. The proceeds will go to benefit local non profit groups(American Cancer Society, The Pendleton Foundation) that support patients and their families here in my hometown who are dealing with cancer. The theme of the calendar will be "A Hope and a Future." If your child would like to particpate please have them create a drawing or painting in any media they like that they feel fits the theme. Kids ages five through 18 are welcome to participate. Please email photos of the drawing to msjuliesartclass[at]aol[dot]com or if you'd rather send it by mail please message me for the address. Deadline to receive entries is Friday November 11th. Calendar will be available for order to purchase from November 25th through December 31. Selections will be chosen by myself and my son Ryan. Local winners will receive one free art lesson from Miss Julie's Art School. Non-local winners will receive a customized art lesson designed my me via PDF.
